UAE, Lebanon imported rice from Brazil in March
São Paulo – Rice exports from Brazil climbed 28% year-on-year in March. Destinations included two Arab countries – the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon, which played a minor role in driving up sales.
Rice, sugar push up Q1 farm exports by 23%
Despite Covid-19 and the lockdown, India saw a 23% increase in export of farm produce from April to June compared to the corresponding period last year, with rice and sugar dominating the charts.
